This I believe

1. Respect your parents, teachers & everyone in the world. You need to be respectful to your parents because if you want to be in driver’s education, then you have to learn how to respect your parents & everyone.
2. Follow directions in school & everywhere, because if you don’t follow directions, then it means you were NOT paying attention. If you don’t follow directions in your classes, then you will have to repeat the grade you are in or you will have to attend summer school.
3. Help other who are hurt/lost or stuck on something: If the person is next to you & is having trouble, then you can explain the directions to them to help them understand.
4. Become responsible for your own actions. You need to become responsible in Middle School & High School. You can be responsible by doing your homework, taking notes, studying for tests/quizzes. If you get bad grades (Es, Ds) then maybe your Mom should NOT PUT YOU IN DRIVERS EDUCATION, because of the bad grades.
5. When you cough or sneeze, try to cover your mouth. If you are doing computers in a computer lab & you cough or sneeze, then you have to clean the computer. If you are in the library, you do the same thing in computer lab. Do not cough or sneeze on others.
6. It is very important that you learn, to learn you must take notes, follow directions. To follow directions, ask the teacher what you need to do if you don’t understand. In Middle School, you need to wake up at 7.00am for the bus, 8:00am is when Middle School starts, and Middle School finishes at 3:00pm. Middle School has 6 different hours ex: (1st hour is Math, 2nd Language Arts, 3rd Music/World Language, 4th Social Studies, 5th Gym/Electives, 6th Science).
7. Do not take/steal money from others, if you take money, you can get written up. If you borrow money, that’s another thing. If you take/steal money from others, then you need to payback. Do not give friends, teacher’s money.
8. Religion is something that is valuable: Religion is very important to you 24/7, all people have to go to church every Saturday or Sunday (Times depends on what church you go to). After church, you get a bulletin to sign up for clubs & become members in church events. I go to St. Aidan’s Church in Livonia & I am in the St. Aidan’s Youth Group. In Youth groups, you have fun, do lots of fundraisings, and go places for fun (golfing, amusement parks, Chuck E Cheese, Zap Zone).
9. Living an active life is important; when you live an active life, you get a better life. If you do Swimming, then you do dryland (running, stretching, etc.) Then once dryland is done, then you do Swimming. If you are in a School Sports Team, then you have to practice becoming a better athlete. If you do Swimming, then you have to learn how to swim. If you want to learn about swimming, try to take some private lessons or get a tutor. I am on the Stevenson swim team, I have been swimming for 12 years.
10. You need to save money, don’t waste money to buy useless things; If you can get something at a dollar store, then it can be useless. If you want to get more money, then try doing summer jobs. For a summer job, You have to be in Middle School or High School. If you know what place you like to do your summer job (gamestop, blockbuster, McDonalds, etc.) But No doctors, dental , or any other medical work. Before doing a summer job you have to check if the stores have a “help wanted” sign. Help Wanted is when a store needs to hire more people. You have to find out how much of pay you will get. The 12 most important things in order to find a summer job are; how old you have to be,

Olympic Swimming- Michael Phelps

I like the Stevenson Swim Team. I like the Olympic swimming even better, because I get to meet new people & swim in the Olympics with lots of men, including Michael Phelps. He is the best American swimmer in the USA. He had won 14 career Olympic gold medals, the most by any Olympian, and is often known as the greatest swimmer and one of the greatest Olympians of all time. In August, 2nd, 2009, Phelps had broken 37 World Records in Swimming. He & I have so much in common about swimming, Michael Phelps does Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, IM (Individual Medley). For the Freestyle, he did 200 m freestyle, 4x100 m freestyle relay, 4x200 m freestyle relay, 100 m freestyle. For the backstroke, he did 200 m backstroke. For the butterfly, he did 100 m butterfly, 200 m butterfly, 200 yd butterfly. For the IM: he did 400 m individual medley, 4x100 m medley relay, 200 m Individual Medley. Phelps's international titles and record breaking performances have earned him the World Swimmer of the Award in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and American Swimmer of the Year award in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009. He had won a total of fifty-four career medals thus far in major international competition, forty-five gold, seven silver, and two bronze spanning the Olympic, the World and the Pan Pacific Championships. My events I can do is 50 Freestyle latest timing is 35 seconds, Breaststroke, 4x200 yd freestyle. At the 2009 World aquatics award, He won a total of 6 medals, 5 golds & 1 silver. , Phelps swam the leadoff leg in 47.78, well off his 47.51 performance in Beijing but the American team was able to edge out Russia and France for the gold. For his second race, the 200 m freestyle, Phelps lost his first race in four years to Germany's Paul Biedermann. Phelps touched second in 1:43.22 but Biedermann smashed Phelps' record of 1:42.96 set in Beijing a year ago with a time of 1:42.00. Phelps took the silver graciously, but coach Bob Bowman threatened to withdraw Phelps from international competition because Bowman claimed Biedermann had an unfair advantage because he was wearing a full polyurethane swim suit, specifically an Arena X-Glide. Bowman said, "It took me five years to get Michael from 1:46 to 1:42 and this guy has done it in 11 months. That's an amazing training performance. I'd like to know how to do that. Phelps rebounded from this loss and for his third race, the 200 m butterfly.

Phelps has won 16 Olympic medals: six gold and two bronze at Athens in 2004, and eight gold at Beijing in 2008. In doing so he has twice equaled the record eight medals of any type at a single Olympics achieved by Soviet gymnast Alexander Dityatin at the 1980 Moscow Summer Games. His five golds in individual events tied the single Games record set by Eric Heiden in the 1980 Winter Olympics and equaled by Vitaly Scherbo at the 1992 Summer Games. Phelps career Olympic medal total is second only to the 18 Soviet gymnast Larissa Latynina won over three Olympics, including nine gold.
